Loi Kratong

It's a light festival. Small boats made from banana leaves, candles, orchids and joss sticks. Candles and joss sticks are lit and then they are put to sea by two people. Apparently the two people are 'forever together in this life or the next', or if it is farang and Thai its 'together forever or until the poor old fool has no money left'. Hundreds of chinese lanterns were also lit as well as, quiet frankly p@&% poor fireworks. They need you over here Nathan.
