Good news. Last week Jess went for a job at a school in Hua Hin. She was ask back to give a lesson on Friday. Success, she was given the post. Subject to Visa and Work Permit. Fingers crossed.

BIRTHDAY

Today is Jess's birthday. We planned to go to the beach for lunch and a good restaurant tonight. Unfortunately, for the first time for months it's rained. I guess she has upset Buddha.

Koh Ngai again

Koh Ngai was once again amazing. Good weather, good food for meat eaters anyway (not so good for the vegetarian).

Yet another guest

Well Jess arrived last week in one piece. Unlike her luggage, well borrowed suitcase anyway. Thanks OMAN AIR. I'm pleased it wasn't mine, but ours was destroyed by GULF AIR. Is it an Arab plan?

SURPRISE

On New Years Day one of our Thai neighbours gave us 2 pineapples. Lovely I thought. Firstly they were full of ants, and as you know we have enough of our own. We hung them up outside and hosed them down, ants all left. I then thought I would take the spikey leaves from the top. To my HORROR a scorpion fell out. To think I was worried about the ants.

Another great New Years Eve. For the people who requested Dave does more karaoke I just couldn't get him on stage singing. But he did do some drumming.
